Hey guys, I'm Foxzell. I figured it was time to start engaging in the forum, now that I have some time. Just passed my Commercial Learners Permit test not too long ago.
It was a breeze. For the new guys lurking, read that manual and take all the online practice tests! I couldn't believe how much the same the questions were compared to the online quizzes. I would say roughly 90% of the actual DMV questions were the same as online.
I only missed two questions on the 50-question general knowledge test. The air brakes and combination tests were the same as well; missed one to four altogether.
Anyway, I'll be starting CDL school at the local community college in the summer.
Don't want to make this too long; just getting myself known here.
Thanks for the support!

Shop around for a good company. Don't jump on the first job offers or the ones the schools usually push. There's plenty out there to choose from the school probably never heard of.
Dan.S, Foxzell and supremegod Thank this. -
Thanks for advice! Yeah, I've been planning and researching around since last year.
I'll be posting updates for sure!
I just posted a new topic in the tankers forum, for anyone who's interested. M.C. Tank Transport? A diamond in the rough?
I'm trying to follow the rules here by posting topics where they belong.Dan.S Thanks this. -
