Just another rookie trucker ;)

Hey folks, just wanted to drop a line and say hiya!
I'm an ex-fabricator, No no.. Not a really good liar, Metal Fabricator (Machinist/welder). Lost my job a few months back and figured it was time for a change of scenery (Literally). I'm actually starting school on monday at a local school. And I thought well heck, I can get advice from my friends (most of them have never even been in a truck that doesn't start with f150) or I could get a jump on things and start here and get some solid advice. I'm 40 in november, married with a 13y/o son and an 18 y/o daughter and 2 dogs that eat me out of house and home.
