Sorry guys and gals, it's been a long time since I've posted on anything. I've been reading through some of the recent Millis posts here and see a lot of the same ol disgruntled people taking every possibility to bash the company, so I thought I would chime in.

I've been with Millis a while now. Finished my year, completely paid off my school, and I'm still here.

It hasn't all been a bed of roses. I've had to sit a few times, and there have been a couple weeks where I didn't even break 2500 miles, but there have been so many I can't count, where I broke 3500. The pay has been great. I've paid off 4 major loans, and paid off 2 of my wifes. I now have almost 6 k in the bank to buy my own truck, and we are down to 4 more loans and 1 credit card to pay off. Not bad at all in my book. My last two paychecks were in the mid $900 range and my last safety bonus was in the mid $500 range.

And yes, they have cameras...and I've had one in my truck for the entire time I've been here, and you know what? I couldn't care less. Don't listen to trolls when they talk about the cameras...most of them don't have a clue.

It's a great company to start with. I'll eventually move on because I intend to become an owner op, but I've had 4 good job offers this year and I've turned them all down because at the moment there is no reason for me to leave.

There's enough people on here that know me in.person that they know I'm not Dan Millis, or anyone else...so there is one particular idiot I expect to comment on this post cause he and I intesely dislike each other, when he comments...just ignore him. He's one of those trolls I'm talking about. Millis was, and is, and will continue to be a great company and when I leave it won't be because I'm not happy with my job, it'll be because I've finally reached my goal and become an owner op.

Good for you ! The trend here is drivers spouting the horror stories. Everybody starts out somewhere, in the first year of driving (Not at Millis) I went from 26cpm to 41 cpm, years later I am currently at 49cpm.

Millis isn't the highest paying company out here but on a 3500 mile week I make .37cpm not including the .03 cpm safety bonus so...yeah...I'm doing good

I wonder if Bill the instructor in Trenton still says "We're the best not the rest"!

My first truck was a T 700 but they are phasing all them out. My second truck is a T 680, 10 speed standard

Glad it's working well for you! Not every company is for everybody and I'm sure they are all not perfect. You are doing the right thing and hang in there do your job for them then go buy you a truck....Good luck Steven

Was wondering if you was still here Steve-glad it's working out-to me the cameras are no big deal, had a poster say they made things stressful, if you're not doing anything to draw attention who cares
