Ahh but what if I'm British? In that case I made no error...Who knows? The "rule" is not universal. Have a good day.
Just curious about the difference?

I hate getting a trainee with an attitude like the OP. They are usually the ones who end up hitting something or doing something embarrassingly stupid. After that, the attitude tends to go away.
At this point you are a trainee. You haven't even acquired rookie status yet. You have no idea how much time you need to spend with a trainer. You know essentially nothing about this job. What's worse, it's obvious that you don't know that you don't know.
The problem is not that you have an opinion. The problem is that, due to your inexperience, your opinion is completely uninformed.G13Tomcat, Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dumdriver Thank this. -

I think you'll find that I don't get offended by posts, either, and I've been accosted on many a format. Others may be, and if I do offend someone, I'm sure to check myself as to whether it was warranted or not. Yes, people do get offended too easily these days, and some of it is frivolous. But when someone chooses to be offensive when unwarranted, that doesn't speak to the over-sensitivity of others, but to the level of maturity of the offender.
Thank you, G13Tomcat.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Lol when was I offensive when it was "unwarranted"......? I was not REMOTELY offensive in my original post and if you've read anything else by me on this forum you'll see I don't ever verbally assault or try to offend anyone for no reason. If I'm offensive you can bet its a rebuttal to someone taking a dig at me JReding. If you choose to be a smart-### to me, then you can bet you'll get a little in return. But I don't just randomly say offensive things to people. I believe it was others wearing their feelings on their sleeve, and getting butt-hurt from taking things I said out of context in my OP, and I merely returned what I was given.

I think what people are possibly finding offensive is, as I stated earlier, your attitude.
Without I spending a single day in the seat other than training (correct me of I'm wrong), you seemed to have developed opinions on various aspects of the industry that can be seen as coming across a little too condescending for someone with your experience level.
I have learned to respect the opinions of drivers on here senior to me, or with experience outside of my own.
As a suggestion, you may want to lose the bold type, by the way. It lends to the perception. Unless you're constantly yelling as you type, or constantly emphasizing every word. Just a thought...
Have a good day, I'm off to work. -

The license is easy to get, actually too easy to get and because of this, we have what I'm guessing 60% of all new cdl holders being so ilequiped that it makes us endangered every time we enter our cabs.
The truth is it isn't about you, it is about you being part of a group and the group is the target for safety.
By the way, I'm all for an apprenticeship program.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
