Just curious about the difference?

They had a lot of good movies back then. You can't make movies like that without offending someone today. It's nice to know that there are still people older than I am.

 

That's cause the world is ### backwards and has been getting that way for along time.
You have a 1,000 people doing a task. 20 of them can't do it without killing or maiming themselves or someone else. So rather than simply dispatching the 20, and saying seek ye life in another fashion. A bazillion policies and rules are put in place that confound the other 980, so that the 20 can struggle through. I think it's called
" tolerance."
