They said they have afew options. You can do 2 weeks on and one week off, 3 weeks on and one week off or 4 weeks on and one week off. They require you to run a minimum of 2 loads per day and say you'll make $1,800 a week if you only do the minimum. If you do 3 loads a day you can get around $2,500 and if you can squeeze in a 4th load once in awhile you'll be in the $3,200+ range for weekly pay. That's what they said.

I asked about the lengths of haul. Seems pretty short for most of their runs so I don't think it would be too awfully hard to get in 4 loads a day once you learn the lay of the land. Of course I'm not going to expect that in the first couple of weeks when I'm still learning my way around the lease roads and figuring out where the wells are at. I worked in the Barnett shale basin before (Fort Worth basin) running a vacuum truck. This will be my first time doing sand and in the Permian basin which is unfamiliar territory.

    Do they have housing ?
What part of the Permian will you be running? That sounds like #### good money if it pans out.

You stay in a man camp during orientation after that you live in your truck. They suggest buying a cooler and microwave as those aren't provided however they do have inverters to run those. For someone coming from OTR it's not too bad of a deal. Basically the same thing, living in a truck for weeks at a time but for more money. I'm not sure if it's the best deal but I've endured worse things like OTR. The company is in Midland/Odessa.

There is alot out there. I work 2 weeks on and two weeks off. I gross around $4k week. I work 105ish hour weeks though. I'm based out of midland. However, driving is not my primary job here.

Getting 4 loads a day, every day is unlikely. Depending what company they are working for, there can be 30-40 trucks in line ahead of you to offload the sand. Those days you may get a load, and part of another turn, if you don’t run out of hours.

Shooter I have a question for you! What outfit do you work for and are they hiring currently? How do you apply with them. Thanks for your response

I no longer work for them. I'm self employed now. I was working for Liberty Oilfield Services. They where great to work for, for years. However, they made alot of changes and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody now. Folks are dropping like flies. Almost everyone I have personally known there has left.
