I was a 450 pound+ (not sure how heavy i actully was, my scale errors after 450 though customer trucn scales indicated around 480....) porker. Trust me i tried every #### diet you can think of. Most for over a year solid. Finally found one that works and im down to 346 and from a size 64 to 50 in a year. Didnt really change my diet too much. Way more protein especially fish, less dairy, cut all the sugary drinks, heavily limited my egg intake, lot more carbs, and a lot of fruit. Then ive been dropping my calories to always stay 500 under my tdee.

Edit: thinking about it yes i know it sounds like a big change. it really wasnt, Literally it went from lots of cheese and milk, soda, monsters, eggs and such to a lot of soup, changed pickled sausages to fish jerky, and swapped from using butter, mayo ect. To using natural fats in meats and swapped from canned/freeze dried chicken to canned fish products, mutton and beef.

Never felt better. Though if i try to fast no matter what diet. Instantly sick and cramps. Though i also drink about a gallon of water a day. Any less and my lips and mouth start to crack and bleed from drying out. Imo the big thing is find a diet that gives your body what it needs then cut calories. You will shed pounds like crazy.

When I cut out carbs I notice improvements in 4-5 days. I've done it many times. If I start eating sugars and carbs again I get fat fast. Food is hard for me to control. That picture of the pie a-la-mode on the counter looks #### good.

I have been eating this way for two years now. started slow with just building up regular fasting. Then I did the same thing with dry fasting, working my way up from one day to now three days. The amazing thing is that fasting became easier without the water. When doing a regular fast with water, I would feel small waves of hunger hit me for a short while each day but would die back down. When not drinking any water at all though, those hunger pains never surfaced even for a moment. I had this feeling of euphoria the entire time. And I was still driving the entire time.

I do not have a scale so I am not sure on my weight. But over the two years I went from wearing 38 inch to 32 inch jeans and have have completely gotten rid of my snoring at night and can sleep like I was ten years old again. It has been the biggest change I ever had in my entire life. No doctors, no pills, none of that.

I used to feel that way all the time, if I went 12 hours without eating anything I would feel faint. This is because your body is screaming for carbohydrates and sugar, it is not adapted to burning fat for its energy needs. But once I got my body used to running on only fat for energy, I could go indefinitely without eating and not feel those symptoms.

Carbs and sugar are what most people run on, so their energy levels swing up and down throughout the day as they eat. But fat is a constant and stable source of fuel, so your body never has those energy swings. The entire three days I was fasting, my energy level never changed. The way you get that way is simply by reducing your carbohydrates. For some people it is 50 grams a day, for some it is even less. Takes a few days at first to begin to change.

Once in a while I will eat an avocado or some berries, maybe chop up an onion or zucchini to add to mix in with the beef. As long as they are low in sugar and carbohydrates. But it is not a daily thing. Some people go strictly carnivore, some eat nothing but steak every day. Beef has all the vitamins you need to be healthy, and that includes vitamin C.

Drug test coming up? What? We did it all the time, I mean, I had friends that fasted,,just kidding, I don't know. I've tried to eliminate any processed foods, I truly believe the ingredients make me sick, and limits my eating considerably. I get DAILY" recalls on so many products, oyster crackers for heavens sake,,,metal filings, and the list is staggering. Numbers vary, but between 60 and 70 MILLION people in the US have stomach issues. Over 40% of the population, so it's pretty safe to say, just about every adult has stomach issues. Tell you what, I've gone back to junk food, at least I'll die with my boots on. Like a big fat, meat lovers pizza,,,( 4 hours later,,,oh, oh,,,:pottytrain5:) Pizza Hut used to have the best spaghetti and meat sauce, all you could eat too.

The only negative I see to this is elimination of water. Water is essential for proper organ and muscle function. You’re not doing your kidneys any good. Otherwise, huge props for being that disciplined.

But that is the best part about fasting, your kidneys do not need to do any work. A lot of your organs get to relax and go on vacation for a few days. Even with that though I was never dehydrated, every time i urinated it was light in color, and I had to go about three times a day because of all the water that the body produces from the burning of fat.

Too many YouTube shorts causing these fad diets, cleanses, fasting, etc.

There is no secret. Don't eat processed food, don't drink calories, excercise, move.

That is interesting I didn't know that. I definatly eat alot of carbs . Lots of bread everyday with sandwiches, pasta for dinner alot of times. Potatoes.. etc .
Sugar I have dialed it back alot in the last, couple years and just that alone makes me feel better... not sure if I'm willing to give up carbs. What else would i eat... lol .. life to short to hate food in my opinion and I think I would hate food without carbs
