Never could understand the reasoning of the Government harps constantly about distracted driving, yet they allow auto makers to install flat screens in the dash. I want a 60" flat screen for my VW Beetle.
And what's the point of a remote control for the auto radio? Are you to lazy to raise your arm to push the button?
Just don't seem worth it....

TCL makes a #### good tv for about half the price as Samsung. Way better smart tv layout compared to the Samsung. The Samsung I had didn't even last 3 yearsWesternPlains and Midwest Trucker Thank this.

red light "on" on the bottom means TV is "off". When it's on, the red light is "off" . I have 5 samsungs, all the same. Who's your TV programmer ?

Last year I got a new 50” on Black Friday and it is still in the box. I’ve found joy in reading books again and watching things I like on YouTube on my iPad.

This little problem about coming home to fix the TV seems a bit trivial compared on how many things I’ve missed in the last 20 years that were normal average day to day family things.D.Tibbitt, WesternPlains and Kyle G. Thank this.

My thought exactly!

You missed the big picture. It's more a matter of turning away from online. Looking at a TV for any reason, just isn't important anymore.

That's what caused me to go OTR. When I worked here. I was never home anyways. I was always working. And I didn't make diddily compared to now. I have alot more time here now than I did when I worked local. Home every night to shower, eat, and sleep. Then back to work.Kyle G. Thanks this.

In the pc space, i could make more recomendations than in macs, i have a dual monitor setup, 27" widescreen monitor and an old lcd 19" 4:3, works quite well, kinda want to get a 23" to replace the 19, probably 32" for my main media monitor.
But as others have said, if youre not at home that much, i dont know how much of an investment i would make in your home setup. Maybe get a cheapy tv that runs 1080p or higher and a GOOD laptop.
