well after re-reading this from start to finish, it is amazing how much my virw points have fluctuated. lol.
one minute i wanna be otr and refuse dedicated accounts, then im not gonna be a team style trainer and then i am. wow. what a crazy 10 months and how fast it has flown by!
anyways, I was thinking of becoming a trainer, but now I might stay in Budweiser dedicated awhile.
I just got a raise from $800 minimum and $.33 cpm to $900 a week minimum and $.37 cpm.
Really enjoying my weekends off, pay is pretty darn good for only working 5 days and every other Saturday.
Werner really isnt all that bad here in my neck of the woods.

I just read your thread, start to finish. Interesting reading. It sounds like things are going well for you. I drove for Werner back in the mid 90's and I'm thinking about going back. Your thread is encouraging. Thanks.

It was the same with me. My experience with Werner was a positive one for the most part, that's why I'm considering them again. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for the thread, real good reading......I am just about to graduate from school and have my prehire letter from Werner. I am going on the Tomah - Walmart dedicated .35 CPM, $5000 sign on bonus and 5 on 2 off,
Glad to see you enjoy the dedicated route, had me wondering in the beginning of this post if I made the right choice!X-Country Thanks this. -

the dedicated fleet dispatchers on that account are good guys too. they will treat you right.
use google satellite on your phone or laptop to check your ins and outs with aerial view. it will help big time. some of those places are tight!

had another quadruple digit paycheck. grossed $1147 this past week.
ended up making a run to Ft. collins and they needed a load ran up in the mountains last Tuesday to Glenwood Springs.
It snowed the whole way. Slid and slipped up to Eisenhower Tunnel, chain law from mm 224 to the tunnel went in effect right as I hit the tunnel.
#### near jack knifed going down the west side. doing 15 mph w/ 80000# and left rear of the trailer kicked out on me and tractor headed for the wall. gave a little and steered into it and got it back. pretty scary.
chained up at the bottom to go up Vail Pass. took me 70 minutes to chain up...first time ever and was pretty frustrated.
coming back the next day, I went over Vail again and only took 39 minutes to chain up. not real bad for first time chaining and driving in the mountains in winter.
dont see why so many drivers make a fuss about chaining up. wasnt that big a deal.
