Yeah be careful what I wish for i guess. Just got a text telling me they will be calling from a certain number and for me to obtain study material to get my permit.

I already have my permit it asks that on the application and I checked yes.

    Starting off bad already lol

I just downloaded the driver pulse app and it shows Roehl says it will be contacting me to discuss my application but I haven't been sent a prehire approval. It's now 6pm should I expect them to call tomorrow or should I call?

And am I supposed to respond to the.messages on this app?

Get your CDL with Stevens then bail, even if you owe them money, you will be earning enough elsewhere to easily repay them. I was talking to a new driver where I work and he was giving me the Stevens rundown. He went through the training, got his own truck and for the first month money was good...then it started dropping off. He spoke to office people who told him all the good loads were saved for lease drivers, so he signed a lease and the miles magically reappeared...for a couple months, then dropped off again. He again sought answers and was told that the good loads were given to lease operators who also train as the students need the miles.

He didn't hang around to be fooled a third time.

Call Roehl tomorrow, I've never heard of an employer who didn't like an eager applicant who was ready to work.

OP, have you tried to get loan from Roadmaster or anything like that? Yes, %ARP is a #####, but after school you can find company who will reimburse you for loan you took. Way better then to run at 26c, or getting crap loads from Riehl (if you will quit before 120 000 miles you will have to pay either way...)

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

I would look into that but my living situation right now is hell so another reason I gotta take whatever I can get. I gotta get out of Dodge. The first year I'll be learning the ropes so I consider it as like an internship. Learn #### get paid #### after the year then I'll have better options.

Stevens pays .30 and Roehl is .32 for dry van.
