Looks like the easiest and maybe not the best route to take is to go with Swift. Ya see, I have a dog and want to be able to take him along on the road. Swift offers a ride along for my pet with a deposit. I'm not sure about all the companies that have been listed above. Swift also has a terminal in Albuquerque which is a plus since I don't really have a good place to park a tractor trailer if I am to take it home on my off time. But the one thing that bugs me is that I have not seen one positive remark about swift except for on another BB. The one good thing was a guy who is pulling flatbeds for swift and loves it. He doesn't mind tarping three times a day and he has a real good attitude. I don't have a link to his ongoing posts but like I said he is the only one with good remarks that I have seen so far on the entire internet. Again, What's a 37 year old guy to do?
Please Sir, before you think anymore about any of the big companies you named before, keep in mind that you do have other options. I suggest you read the thread in the experienced trucker's advice section on starting out.
I shall read it. Thanks. My head is spinning from all the reading (research) that I have been doing on this site alone. Great site with tons of useful info. My eyes are buggin' out Thanks again!
