HE should have called someone and explained his situation. THATS all IM saying.[/QUOTE]
Agree, even My dispatcher told Me , if not sure ASK. The one litlle problem
with all of this I have is, that I have seen, heard stuff other drivers did and They did not get fired. Thats all. Not badmouthing Millis, but They couldve said " Hey ####### We gonna dock Your pay and next time Your stupid ### is gone". Just saying...

It is also the reason, I no longer deal with big truck issues.
As far as other opportunities, I could go back to the accounting at any time. Problem, no sun in the office. Backstabbers at every corner.
Could go back in the ambulance, but I was burned out of it after 18 months of working and the remainder of the day and night on call. Could not even go for a walk in the neighborhood. -
The problem with this is you are saying "driver X got away with it, so why can't I?" I have never seen a place where that argument works. You can never asume you can get away with something that violates company policy simply because you "know someone else gets away with it." -
The one word that seems to have been missed is he's a Dedicated driver. I would assume that added to the issue.
I still think we are not hearing the real issue(s) but that's just me. -
msg me as i am looking for a team driver for a few weeks if that works out i have work in ND in the spring. I am o/o and would be glad to give you a start. i live in ga and contract is in nearby state. hey you never know right.

It's very unfortunate this happened at all, but from my time here Millis is very big on communication. I don't know what exactly transpired but I would say for any "newbie" or driver otherwise, communication is key. I have never found them to be anal on anything as long as it's communicated. I hope you find something soon to keep you trucking.

I wish you good luck in the future Chachar! Thanks for posting what happened in your situation. Although it didn't end well for you it is valuable information for the rest of us newbs. It was very big of you to admit your mistakes and not just bash Millis. With the "good karma" thing going for you it will work out.
