    Took my permit tests again this morning and passed! Got my permit from the DMV and I'm ready for the next step. One less thing to worry about!

    Congrats Randy!!

    I'm going to glom on to Randys post here (Sorry Randy!) to ask a question of TMCers.

    I'm in the last stages of accepting an offer from TMC. I've seen on websites they pay $500/week for training. On the web they state from day one. My recruiter told me it's not until week 3-7. The first 19 days of training (orientation?) in Iowa are unpaid according to her. So, do I believe recruiter or website?

    My training pay started when I started with the trainer in is truck. No pay during orientation.

    My recruiter has stated that the orientation, which I am going to on Monday, is unpaid for 19 days of CDL training. This is the training I will go through to get my license before heading out with a trainer for 5 weeks.
