I have one single broker that I do business with in the same lanes that I book through Convoy. He knows that in order to win my business, he has to not only match what Convoy is paying on a similar load, but he needs to beat their rate by enough to offset the cost of getting quick pay from his company. So far he's doing a pretty good job. Other than him, I don't deal with any brokers at all.Rideandrepair and RunningAces Thank this.

When a driver gives you a tip like this it’s a good idea to listen. Most won’t give out tips like this.
Thanks driver!!!Tug Toy, Rideandrepair, kimbosa and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just depends on the lane you choose to run. Booking loads thru Convoy or Uber isn't the end all, and I know Steve knows that, for every situation or profile. Convoy has little to no freight available on my route. So little, I don't waste my time even opening the app anymore.
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Loads "out" of your area I absolutely agree which is why I have contract freight and other means to find loads out of the PNW. Loads "into" your area are paying some of the highest rates in the country right now coming from California. Seems like a simple matter to grab some good paying freight if you plan it right.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Well, cuz you know I try to stay out of California if I can LOL you can't help it you live there.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Yep, hauling all of that high paying freight out of here gets to be a real burden sometimes.

Zero! $000,000.00 . work with brokers that offer quick pay, 97% of all broker's have it.
Thanks for the factoring challenge -
I still have not done any loads with Convoy on the East Coast here. I've never seen anything I really wanted to do for them all there lately there have been a few.
My trailer is older than 10 years so I wonder how strict they are on that.
My trailer must be okay because I did a load that another carrier got rejected for a bad trailer and I had no problem.
