Sadly this is a bad time of the year to be looking for work. Lot's of places have hiring freezes so good luck. Not sure how big your town is, but just from the looks of it. You may have to try to get some regional gig. This is mostly an otr type site. So if you have already put in apps at your local distributors. Then not sure how much we can help you. Might end up settling for a get home on the weekend deal or regional. They don't tell you how hard it is to find local work on those commercials even when you have experience. So hope it works out for you.

The only other options I can think of if you're wanting to be home every night is to try some of the concrete companies or there's a couple rock quarries in the area but like it's been said they're probably not hiring this time of the year. Hope something works out for you.

if you are having no luck.. be sure to get on with a training company before the window closes... and you can still look for and apply for the local gigs...
