    Am I the only one who actually pretrips my car? Like check oil, check washer fluid, make sure my tires are good, make sure my battery is good... make sure nobody keyed my car...

    Just not really sure why someone would add a component or complex machine to the equation and not think they need to assess it. Like let me drop a thousand or more pounds on the back of er and roll...

    You are not the only one.
    I check the tires and fluids on the wife's truck, and the trailers before we take a trip, unless its to the local lakes. By which I mean less than 25 miles one way.
