I'm not sure why you would leave the company you get now to be pre-hired by the two you listed. That will just be a different version of what you had in the last two companies. If you keep going with this type of company, you just as well stay with whichever one you are at. While it is possible you will find one that is a better fit for you, I think mostly you will find more of the same.

Once you have a couple years under your belt, you are attractive to a lot of companies that don't take newbies. Often this is an insurance requirement.
Most of these companies are about the same, other than routing or sometimes equipment. Their pay is often similar, often expressed in different manners, but at the end of the year your w-2 is the same.
What differs is personalities and likes. You may get along great with one dispatcher and not with another. Paperflow may be a bit different, and while not bothering one person, will aggravate the crap out of you.
Some drivers don't care if they're governed speed, others hate it.
It's all the little things that count.
Start making a list of what it is you really want in this industry, so you can ask the right questions and settle on a company in the future that meets as many of those as possible.
Skipping around will only get you ruled out by most 'better' companies, and two jobs in two years is considered skipping around.

I ran into problems at kllm something i dont agree with but I did and it turned out for the worst so I payed the price. Kllm is a GREAT company and I would recommend to anyone just I was forced to resign rather than being fired. I received a Major moving violation (70mph in a 55) was my first time in CA didnt know about the truck 55mph law at the time and then it was tossed out by the judge but KLLM still listed as I got it even though the judge got rid of the ticket for me. I then received another major moving violation at a later date in TN (73mph in a 55mph) which I was going downhill at night noticed the sign too late coming from a 70 zone to a 55 zone and decided to gently get on the brakes and wait till the downhill leveled off so I can slow easier as there was no vehicles around me but I failed to notice in the dark was a Full Grown on in the trees hiding and I got nailed. Kllm said that was 2 major moving violations so either we fire you or you resign and we report nothing to your DAC. I tried talking to them saying wait the first ticket was thrown out and the 2nd one hasnt been a conviction yet. They said they dont care take my pick of my options. I resigned and they did exactly what they said my DAC is still clean however I was left to get a rental from Jackson MS to Rochester NY with all my stuff and my dog.
Funny thing is 2 days after I was forced to resign my 2nd ticket was tossed out by the judge so as I stand right now I still have a Clean dac and Clean MVR HAHA! But I made my choices and paid the price while driving for KLLM I have no hardship towards them other then I wish they based it of convictions not what the little yellow ticket says! But I was hired by Marten I will be flying out monday which they will pay for my Flight and Luggage cost and I will do the PA/NJ Regional with them to get home every weekend to see my daughter and wife!

I think we will see all companies start this soon. With them worried about their scores they are going to get rid of drivers before the conviction can come down. Not sure, just a thought.

As far as Marten i fly out to Richmond, VA tomorrow for orientation that starts tuesday! I am excited to get back on the road! -

More than 30 years ago, and having never been to California, I knew about their speed limits and other ridiculous differences before my first trip which took me there. As professionals we are required to know what lies ahead, especially at 65 MPH and 80,000 pounds.
Do yourself a favor, even if your story is true, don't tell it. I'm not saying you did know the speed limit or that your story is not true. I will tell you when you tell that story people think one of two things. Either it is an excuse or you have no business driving commercially. I'm not beating you up. Just telling you I wouldn't hire you if you told me that story.
Put a positive spin on it about making a mistake and learning a lesson. If you don't have to don't tell prospective employers about it. Most people will give you a second chance if you accept responsibility and learn from your mistakes.lammchop558 Thanks this.
