Not a trucker. But I’m trying to get a new truck hauled from a dealership in Iowa to my house in California.
I thought I was calling transport companies and I’m finding out they are just brokers. They seem so “used car salesman” and I’m finding out they are taking the lions share of the fee and have told me the truck driver Carries the insurance.
And that’s the nicest way I can describe the interactions.
Im trying to find a way to get my truck hauled… and now an acquaintance who bought from the same dealer and lives near me, his truck as well, hauled to us. But where the trucker isn’t getting squeezed on pay and I’m not getting taken to the cleaners.
anyways so I’m here to learn and hopefully find an owner operator or a company that actually takes care of the drivers and doesn’t screw the clients.
Just me…
