Here is your problem with trucking and the first thing that pops in my head is are you truly rehabilitated. You stated you have been to prison a few times not just once. You also said selling drugs I am assuming that you were in jail a few times for selling. My first worry would be will be start selling again and distributing over state lines using my truck. I would look at hey this guy didnt just make one mistake it was a reoccurring problem. I would also look at this wasn't just a youth thing you did it clear up to being an adult. You are going to have to prove yourself and that means you might have to work a crapy driving job for a few years. There are some companies that won't hire you period. There are customers that require background checks for companies that haul their product. I'm not saying it is impossible but you have a tough row to hoe.

I'm thinking,,,worst case scenario, he could get his own truck/trailer and Authority.. Than, it would be down to just finding an insurance agent/company that would insure him. Seems I read on this forum somewhere a guy did just that, just not sure he had felonies.

There is a company that advertises on our local Craigslist, that says felonies are consideredon a case by case basis. FWIW

Are you on probation? If so, that job would violate it.
