Just sayin' Hi...

Me and my wife have been in the trucking industry for the past 9 years. We started out running a big rig for a local trucking company and ran a dedicated lane from Ohio to California. 2 years ago we decided to downsize and we now run expedited and small Sprinter-Class runs of 1 to 2 pallets east of the Mississippi.


Before all of that, we actually did programming; html, cgi, perl, c++, java, and the likes. Got a bit burned out on all that, and turned to the open road!

Along with running freight, we've now combined trucking with some small, helpful android apps - mainly for the small family operations, and mainly in the realm of 'communication made simple'. My wife does 'dispatch', and I run loads, and she needed a simple way to know where I was all the time....

I'm glad I found this forum, and I am looking forward to using all the good information here, and maybe I can answer some business questions for others who are getting into the business.
