I wish I got out with PAM that quickly. I'm going into my 3rd week and they still haven't got me a trainer. From other peoples posts I read they call you when the trainer is about an hour out too which should make it interesting.
Hey CJ, I see you found this place. I'm glad to hear my help worked and you passed. I just passed yesterday. I'm home now CDL in hand but can't call my DM till the 17th and god knows when I'll get a trainer. So here's the rest of my story of my time at C1. The unvarnished no BS truth. So when I left off I was waiting to take my test. Fri rolls around and I cross the fence to take my test. I nail my PTI, start my manuvers. I nail the straight line and offset. I start my parallel as always and hear the whistle blow for an encroachment. What?! I have done this 25 times at least on the range and never got points for an encroachment. Whats going on? So I pull out and reset to do it again. I'm pulling in the box the same way I have for the last 2 weeks and I hear that #### whistle again. My passenger drive tires are going over the line. At first I think the box we trained on was bigger than the test box. But no. So I failed my test. When I go back to the range I do my parallel again and have a student watch my blind side. Sure enough my drive tires were going out every time...The instructors were not noticing this! We were being taught to go into the box too deep. Yesterday I watched 5 guys fail ahead of me. They all did the exact same thing...what we were taught to do. Luckily I told scott the problem and he straightened me out with a few small adjustments. When I retested yesterday I finished the range with no points, 3 pullups, 2 get outs. So anyway I'm happy to be out of that hellhole. The last week it has averaged 100+ degrees on the blacktop. I'm burnt to a crisp. Well I got a ton of stuff to do today, see you all later. Good hearing from you again CJ
Head out tomorrow, I better not get the call one hour before hand. I will tell the dude, well, you had better sit for a few hours, I had plans and an failure to properly plan on your part, does not necessitate an emergency on my part.
he will possibly pass you rather than sit depending on what his log looks like with his 14. he may not have time to sit a few hours and get his load delivered.
