your right Im not happy with most companys But I love the company Im at now.. Great milage and great pay... hardly ever have to sit... couldnt ask for any thang more.. As long as it gets the bills paid and keeps my kids with food clothes and a roof then whatever... So do what you want and good luck on your joruney and as for anyone who doesnt like what I post then dont read it.. I have a right to speak my mind and say what I want to say about what company I want to say it about. If you dont like it then OH WELL... just as you im entitled to my own opinion dont like what I have to say then that is your problem so get over it

Please, please, don't stay there for any length of time, use it as a stepping stone and get the H### out of there!! Run don't walk. Unless you don't mind a just above poverty level income.

I know I have 12+ years and a Million Accident free miles in and I make .35 cents a mile. My brother in law has 5 years in with US Xpress and makes .43 cents per mile with a regional run and is home a couple times a week. I really wish I had gone there way back when. If the economy does take an upturn I may still go there, but til then I ma stuck here.

So, I finished my training and contacted my SDM and Driver Placement. I was told that there are no positions available in regional, dedicated, or even the 48 states for at least a week, maybe two. Needless to say, I was pissed. They gave me a few options and I chose to take a leave of absence. So I got dropped off at the terminal near my house last night and headed for home. The bad part is that I'm not getting paid, but the good part is that I'm finally home after 7 weeks on the road. I have to call every other day to see if there's any openings, which I'll do for maybe a week or two while I relax. If nothing becomes available, I'm moving on to a better company. I've completed my training all under one trainer who will make one hell of a good reference for hire at another company.

I basically got screwed and I still can't believe it. Oh well. What can you do? Probably move on to something better.

No truck yet, if ever. It also sucks because I don't get my 500 dollar graduation bonus until after I get my truck and deliver my first solo load. If I end up going with a different company, I'm getting screwed there too :/
