Hi Mike, Do you know anything about a company called Mongoose Trucking? They work the Bakken, are out of Montana. My hubby is hauling water for a small co. in New Town, but, not getting enough hours, he's looking to jump to another outfit. He has a few months water hauling exper. and lots of years of end, belly, side dump, OTR etc. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

I just was hired with nuverra. I start orientation next Monday. Kind of nervous to start with such a large company. I made good money hourly at my last place $27+out average 65-70 hours a week. I've got about 20 months in the bakken and I feel like hourly pay is holding me back. I'm a hustler and I want to give % a shot. The hiring process was pretty quick and easy for anyone with any kind of oilfield experience. In person app on Monday contacted on Wednesday interview on Thursday hired on Friday. Spent 15 days home flying back on Sunday for orientation on Monday. Hope they don't make me train too long I already have all certifications and am anxious to see how much I can make with them. The math is good just need to get the shifts

Hi chaz7r, My husband was also in the process of being hired there, but, having to pay for housing is a big bite for us, they are expensive too. We've heard it is a good company tho.
Good Luck, I hope you've found the right fit! Be safe, some of those % guys are crazzzzy drivers!!
Would you mind giving me the name of the co. you are coming from?? My husband likes working for hourly pay as opposed to %.

Haven't heard anything about Mongoose. Sometimes that can be a good thing.

DOT seems to be scaring alot of companies into only doing 70 hours a week. Hopefully we'll see the wages going up to make up for the loss of overtime
