    Perhaps because they don't hire in my area? The only one ever hiring for LTL is YRC, and that's a part-time dock work / P&D. Every now and then R+L or Southeastern offers a P&D position. All pay less than $16/hour down here.

    ok so its really been awhile since i updated this thread....

    april 16 2015....still working for mbi subcontractor but from this date untill the end of may i only work 3 days so i decide to finally get off my ### and start looking for another job....
    may 18 2015 get hired at a construction company hauling gravel in a belly dump....love this job ...good people and coworkers equipment is so so but have good mechanic on site and all is well....untill end of august when talks of layoffs come....was told when i started that they work year round
    oct 1 2015 start working for hydrovac company lots of work and hours.....really love this job...who wouldnt like playing with a 3000 psi pressure washer and huge shop vac?

    Sounds all good....although that last one or current one sounds like that job could blow or suck...Guess it depends on your perspective.....

    have had alot of training,,,,which really does suck...sitting in a classroom 12 hrs a day.....4 total days of that = boring but my resume is growing everyday.

    so how are things with you joe? did you ever get your cdl?

    Have some issues with the school, Got the State, the D.M.V., and Labor dept. looking into it.....
    So for the time being went back to what i was doing, as there is a lot of work with the carp. union again, but i will get it back even if i gotta go a different route...
