Williston, geez, the hub of madness

I actually found a cute little 3 bedroom house there, built in 1940, worth about 30k, on sale today for 300k!!!

Do you guys see the craigslist ad's for o/o water haulers (3000 to 5000 a week)..It has a picture of a guy next to a tanker, standing in a giant pool of water!! It looks like the guy dumped his entire load on the ground!!

How about the insane equipment up there...SANJEL has tons of the craziest looking equip

We had a new trucking school guy in our group, he blew up a disposal facility not grounding out...they lost 3 disposals when I was there just in October..The other 2 were due to lightning

Anyways, just random thoughts

yeah ive seen that ad on the north dakota CL, is that B.S.? ive also seen similar ones in texas saying $10-15K a week for O/O too.
im currently a heavy haul O/O local in Michigan and that sounds like what these guys were making here 10-15+ years ago now a fraction of that. not even worth it anymore here

 

That ad is a guy trying to sell a book about making money in the oilfield lol. He's not hiring anybody he's just looking for people to make money off of.

 

id like to get out of the O/O seat for a little while relax a bit and drive for a company but with #'s like that i could very easily see myself putting up with the hassle of being an O/O.

 

I am a o/o from seattle but i have a white/gmc tandem axle bob tail truck.Can i ask if these tankers can be hooked up to my 5th wheel or do i need to buy a tanker truck
