I see "smart" truck owners every day! They think they are really smart when they fix parts I use to change. They do to many mistakes, they block bracke chambers, they use pices of wire becose there was no fuse of rate they need, as result - deadly accidents.

This is row video of accident in St.Peterburg, 10/13.. friday. Container hauler lost control becouse of air system fault. three men were killed.... There were two full 20' containers. What is the average weight of ladec container? -

and now imagine what cops say about how it happened, what is in theirs papers...? after accident it is difficult to find broken air line, becouse it looks like damage in accident, and they concider all as driver's fault. nice!!!! Especially if driver was killed. when truck dumps air it is like you pull red park brake button, tracktor drive axes lock, trailer pulls trucktor in direction depending on to many factors... driver can do nothing. everething happens in seconds.

Yeah I know I had my air lines go at 70 mph once........I managed to get it off the road before I lost all pressure.

JB Weld. That's a whole lotta smarts right there. Could of at least tried to weld it. Better yet replace it in the first place. Glad it didn't go on the road when you needed your brakes.

Why not???
Another member of this forum once had a boss use a 2 by 4 for a engine mount,..............lol,....
And we all wonder why this industry has gotten the image it has,.........rocknroll nik Thanks this. -
Last company I worked for guy pulling a tridem fully loaded hit a porcupine. Ripped the air line out of a brake chamber on the trailer. Dumped air so fast that the trailer tires all locked up and flat spotted them. Had road service out to replace the line. Aired up fine. He made it back to the yard. Owner passed the trailer off to me. Tried to tell me that they'll round out after a few hundred miles. I'm glad that company went out of business. The owner (Father) had NO idea how to run it properly.

my air leak was cause in a round about way by an oil leak from the head gasket that they wouldn't replace. kept telling me it was'nt that bad........well they fixed the jakes and a couple other things on the engine but not the leak........I'm rolling down the road and then the air starts dumping.....I pulled over barely got her stopped before it locked up........jump out and my #### engine caught fire.....the hot oil mixed with diesel ignited on the exhaust and my air lines caught......I managed to get the fire out before any major damage luckily but they never did fix the leak....bunch of friggin losers
