I have never seen a $350 Paycheck always a little More LOL. They have some of the most dedicated drivers I've seen in a company, you certainly have to watch what you say and to who, shop is on the up and up, keep the trucks in top shape. Good group of people for the most part. That recruiter is a different story, she is full of bull , thinks she knows trucking, but talking to her you will find out other wise, thats my story and I'm stickin to it :biggrin_2556:

Yeah, the fellow in the middle vidieo Paul Harder, spoke with him back in Jan , said he had about $5000, worth of Chrome rapped up in that company truck, not me , I like a clean truck, might throw some chrome knobs in there thats about it. Kaiser has 2 terminals, the one in Janesville Wi. and the other in Orange Ca. at times you might show up at Orange with a loaded trailer with 3 different picks, you might unload thoughs for what ever reason, and then hang around Orange for 2 or 3 days doing local picks to get the trucks loaded that were before you, strange system we have, more different than anything else I've done in trucking:biggrin_25518:

American Trucker, because their company trucks are fancy you automatically think the driver makes good money? I was talking about my personal situation, not kaiser drivers. I probably make the same or more as a Kaiser driver and Im home weekly. :biggrin_25522:

well you quoted what i said and then made a ######## comment about em looking broke and miserable, like I was implying that kaiser drivers dont make money. All I was saying was I make more driving for a company with cheap trucks than when I drove fancy Petes. So yeah I think you did say that. Man, a guy cant say anything on here without somebody getting offended. And your correct he probably has driven 4 times as many years as I have and hes probably twice my age, why is this relevant in anything?

I think the way a driver speaks about his company and the way he presents himself on a daily basis says a lot about the company he works for. I find it hard to believe $350 dollar paychecks are a norm at Kaiser, LTL stepdeck freight pays well, I can see the layover due to piecing together the loads, but I think the low pay quote is BS. I don't think Dooner, Jim Santy, or Paul Harder are pulling the wool over anyones face, they make good money, provide for themselves and their families and put forth a sense of pride in what they that do, a little thing lost in the world of todays driver. I've checked out Dooner's facebook page and he's got photos of the Christmas party and you can see the pride within that company, not saying a photo tells the whole story, but I find it hard to see the truth in the babble about $350 dollar earnings.

First off they have a lousy Basic score for unsafe driving which means you'll get inspected more. I was leased to a co. with the same business model in the 90's, you spend 3 or 4 days running around Los Angeles loading partials then hauls ### east, you have to know how to be creative log book wise. You'll see a lot of ### kissing at co's like this also. Am I correct in assuming these company drivers are buying their own chrome? If so, why? Shouldn't that be the co's responsibility?
