I buy chrome for my truck, it's a sense of pride I take in my job, and I like to stand out from the rest of the fleet. I don't expect anyone to buy it for me, in my opinion, and it's just an opinion, it's a sense of professionalism that is lacking in a lot of todays drivers.

Professionalism is driving in a safe courteous manner, keeping appointments, being neat in your appearance, turning in neat legible paperwork on time. Buying chrome for a truck that does not belong to you and not getting reimbursed for it is a fool parting with his money.

Your opinion, I don't agree with you but you're entitled to it none the less. It doesn't bother me to put a little money in my truck if it keeps "ME" happy, I could care less what you or anyone else thinks of the way I spend my money, thank god I work for a company where I make a good enough living to afford the chrome if the mood strikes me.
Attached is a pic of me and my truck, with a couple hundred dollars of added show and shine, that few hundred hasn't broke the bank and I definately haven't lost sleep, and I sure as hell don't feel like the "fool" you've described when I'm riding around turning some heads.Attached Files:

Well, there's no arguing with stupidity.

I do too, I drive for a small company (21 trucks), we only run the west coast. We take pride in our rides and I enjoy it.
