This thread of probably useless without pics Iknow.

We have a '95 Kalyn MRGN that has....near as I can tell..... No way to lower the deck height. The steel slider plates on the gooseneck have a round hole in them that slides over a round pin on the trailer when you reattach. It would be nice if there was a second round hole so I could lower the deck height. Has anyone modified a trailer like this?

Most all our mechanical's have dog-bones with two and some with three ride height holes.

I don't know about "modifying" a set as these things take an enormous tension stress and any sort of modifying them may and likely will compromise the strength. You could however check with the manufacturer and see if they have dual or triple ride height dog-bones available.

Don't know about Kalyn, but you could buy a set of double holed stirrups for a Trailking. Also,if you need an inch or two,you can adjust the air ride leveler valve down a little on the truck and trailer.Used to always keep mine on the low side of specs.
