    Just start speaking spanish and they'll leave you completely alone out around dodge city. At least that's what I've noticed.

    Good luck with the run. It's very maddening, and not so much that the rules are complicated, but that because they're so complicated you can't get answers. There's so many layers to this crap you just don't know sometimes.

    Thats BS
    I bought my wagon in KS and was able to buy a trip/fuel permit at the POE
    But that was before the UCR crap
    I don't get a tax bill from KS

    Why are you special? Do you have them on your cab card? We get one every year. It's about the same as the "new" Ucr fees.

    I think they random pick guys but not for sure. I use to run Kansas every week and so did a lot of owner operators that I know. Some have received property tax statements in the mail and some haven't. I never have but the company I use to be leased to received them on their company equipment.

    That UCR is a bunch of crap. That reminds me I need to pay my 2290 on my new truck, it's always something.
