So when the woman is on section 8 with free housing and free medical insurance plus food stamps and allowance for heat while the man is broke living with his parents cuase he cant afford a place of his own paying almost half his check to her while she uses it for everything but the kid guess thats perfectly fine?dude you need to get a clue about the real world as i see it everyday heck ive known women who get pregnant just so they can get more money and welfare benefits.

We don't know the whole story. What we have is a guy asking how to hide money so his support doesn't go up.

Choose your love, love you choice. It's a verb not a noun. #1 cause of divorce is selfishness, not money or anything else. You should do everything in your power to work it out with her. And when you have done all you can, do some more. If nothing else, the kids deserve two parents that are together (ones of opposite gender). They will thank you for it later and the good Lord will smile on you. BTW, it ain't easy. It never was.

Edit: One other thing. YOU are the man. That family is YOUR responsibility brother. You work hand in hand with her, but the responsibility lays squarely on your shoulders.

There is nothing but ABSOLUTE TRUTH to that statement.
Human "drives" can be and often are a one way ticket to destitution and poverty. I too was told years ago that if one cannot feed them, do NOT breed them.

Children have a right NOT to grow up in destitution or poverty.

I currently work as a retail clerk. This month was 7 years for me at my company, which I am very grateful for.

Everyday I see "growing" families coming into the store really trying to scrape up enough money to pay for groceries, milk, baby formula, diapers, medicines for colds and flu, along with trying to buy clothes and toys for the kids.

The families also often buy tons of cakes, candy, chocolate, cookies, ice cream, pastries, along with various other "vice" items as beer, chewing tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, rolling papers, tobacco, and "zig-zags". If many families would really cut back on these items, they could save thousands of dollars a year. The added bonus would also be improved health for the families.

Quite often, the fathers of these families have taken off to Kalamazoo or Timbucktoo, leaving the mothers to fend for themselves. Many of these fathers are deadbeat Dads evading child support payments and other responsibilities associated with child rearing.

There are also quite a few divorced Dads that do fulfill their responsibilities and do manage to spend quality time with their kids.

I am having trouble deciding where to begin.

That's glaringly obvious sir, by the following logic:

While that sure sounds like a nice, cliche sentiment, sometimes the best thing for a child is for the parents to divorce. If mommy and daddy are constantly at each other's throat, Junior would be better off if they weren't together than if they were.

Know what else? Sometimes it's even in the child's best interest to be permanently removed from the parents' care! And I'm speaking from personal experience on that.

Just because a couple people contribute DNA to create another person doesn't mean they're fit to care for the product of their recreational activities.

    Furthermore...

Having 2 parents doesn't make kids automatically respect others. I've seen quite a few brats with both parents at home, and I've seen well mannered children that live with one parent.

"The nuclear family" is not a magical formula that creates perfect people, or we never would have gotten to this sad state of affairs in the first place.

If there is a woman intentionally getting pregnant to get more money and welfare benefits, then social services or the individual state authorities need to be notified of this. The woman needs to be seriously counciled on this type of behavior, which is detrimental to the woman, children, and society as a whole.

Also, men need to take more responsibility and NOT become fathers to the children of a woman of this particular caliber. If the men start saying "NO", then the woman in this scenario is less apt to give birth to another child.

After all the bickering on this thread, it's amazing how we can fight amongst ourselves over some moral issue.
Give this guy a break....!!! I have no doubt he's gonna look after his kids, but he has to do it with HER hanging around, sucking him dry, apparently.
He knows what's going on, and he has to do what's right for him! Let him decide on what he does. He doesn't need some of you lot lecturing him, like he's some kind of school boy.
All this child support and having to fight an ex who is he'll bent on revenge, is a never ending spiral of animosity. because that's who she really was in the first place. She just hid her crazy ways very well in the beginning.
I got rid of my ex a few years ago because I found out that she was a crazy, nasty piece of work, but the best part is we never had kids together....Yay !!!
That's because I am ProChoice!! I chose NOT to have kids.
And even then, some of the ignorant population criticized me for that stance, accusing me of being selfish. So in many ways you can't win.
But at least I can enjoy the fruits of my labor, and we as truckers absolutely deserve it, and don't you ever forget it.

Only one way: Put the company in a trusted relatives name, to the court you are just the driver, paid 30c a mile. Have the relative save and invest profits until your kids are 18 and then you 'buy' the company back for $1.
What the OP is asking has nothing to do with the kids it has to do with lazy ex wives screwing you out of your hard earned cash because the courts are set up to make it easy to do so. You can be the best dad in the world giving your kids everything they need and more but why should you 'support' the Ex, especially if she is doing nothing to support herself.

My friend married a new woman, bought a truck, put it in her name, she pays him $100 a week and that's all he has to claim for income. She is technically his driver.
