Many eobrs use a cellphone or tablet to input and display data. My jjkeller for example. Its an eobr connected via Bluetooth to my cellphone.

I don't believe that they would take it back to their car with them without getting permission from you. And I don't believe that they could search your phone without a warrant.

Uh no. Jjkeller is an eobr.

Edit: and not only do i not need to print them. There isn't even a way for me to print them. They gotta be emailed or faxed to the officer.

Does anyone else have issues with the GPS part of Keep Truckin?

I have to tap it to find me over and over again before it will find me. Sometimes it just refuses. It also can't seem to remember where I am On Duty/Not Driving and can be a pain trying to find me again so I can change status to Driving. I haven't gone anywhere in 20 minutes, but it has no idea where I am.

Also, looking on the Keep Truckin website, the tracking has me all over the region to places I have never gone. The gist of the tracking is correct but it will show me having been in a village 20 miles out of my way that I never went to.

Edit to add that I just found this gem: On August 4th, I went from Rochester, NY leaving at 09:31 and arrived at Spring Grove PA at 09:34, three minutes later. I then arrived back in Rochester, NY at 09:37. That means I was averaging 5680 mph. A little more than 7 times the speed of sound... Fastest I have ever gone through Shamokin Dam, I will tell you that.

Who's the Super Trucker Now? Eh? Eh? :glasses2:

Nevada and Arizona don't have to agree. The fmcsa sets the rules. Not individual states.

Just to clarify... Are you referring to the ELD version, plugged into your diagnostic port? Or the completely separate electronic version of a paper log?

Just the app running on my phone. The other apps on my phone seem to be able to figure out where I am.
I'm running local. Boss just told me to download it on my phone and get used to it.

I use it on a tablet, that doesn't have internet access, so I never use the gps part of it. At the end of the day or week, I use the hotspot on my phone to email myself my logs, and for them to upload to the website...
