The way to keep things off of your PSP is to do good pre-trips and post trips, and refuse to operate equipment with violations. And then hop you don't get some richard inspecting you.
And you do not have a PSP score. Company has a CSA score but drivers are not rated. You company may have some software that converts the CSA number so they can track drivers but the FMCSA does not.

No such thing as a PSP score, so as such there is no number to keep low. PSP only lists violations on a CVSA inspection report for the last 36 months and wrecks for the last 60 months.

That said, to keep your PSP clean it's simply don't get any violations. Don't speed is the major one, and, if possible, keep a clean truck. Basically don't do stuff that will cause an leo to pull you over and look harder. Stay legal on weights, don't run around with bald tires, etc.
Yes, we all hear stories of officers writing up stupid stuff life chaffed airlines. While that does happen, in my experience is if you are respectful to the officer they won't be writing up for stupid stuff.

Now if you do get a violation, it might be a good idea to see if the officer will give you a citation too. A citation can be fought in court, while just a violation, which some call a written warning, cannot be fought. It can be disputed, but the likelihood of it getting reversed is next to none.

Now even if you do get a few violations on your PSP report most companies won't care. Especially if it's stupid equipment violations. Companies know the games officers play and take it into account.
Just don't get any of the career killers on there like speeding 25+

You only have to worry about it for 2 years as far as the company is concerned.

Stay local and they most likely won't even care.

I do all the things u said and i still got inspected 6 times this year and pulled over 2 other times for no reason other than they see what letters are on the side of my truck???? No none of that crap matters. If ur company has a bad csa score they will pull u in and bend you over with no lube.

While it's true a bad CSA score will bring in more inspections for everyone driving for that carrier, think about how many more you would have gotten by speeding all the time on top of bad CSA scores.
