Turn the defrosters on full blast, max heat at the first sign of snow ... then roll down your window and strip down to your underwear and socks.

Be careful about using isopropanol or more commonly called "Rubbing Alcohol".....It contains water and will freeze....

Also if you purchase the windshield wash outside of Cali rated to -25*....It's illegal to use it in Cali per CARB regs....

Yeah I know...I use it.....I run in Sub-zero temps and the crap they sell in Cali freezes at 32*.....
I would rather pay the friggin' CARB fine than not see........

Use the -35 washer fluid, shrouded ("winter") wipers so it keeps the ice buildup out of the frame, and crank that heat. An old-timer I used to work with lengthened the washer fluid supply line on his Freightshaker, and ran a few turns of it around a coolant line to heat the washer fluid. But, you'll still likely have to get off and knock the ice off every so often.

CLEAN THE CRAP OFF THE DASH !!!!!

that ain't a filing cabinet up there.

those vents under that stuff need to be free, so the air can hit the glass not just heat the cab. if it starts freezing over too bad stop and let the defrosters catch up.

other than that , what the rest said is good advise.

oh and, CLEAN THE CRAP OFF THE DASH !!!!!!!!!!

Why is it the right side stays ice free, but the driver's side I have to pullover every ten minutes and slap boulders of accumulated ice off them?

I also turn the def heat up full blasy and roll down the right window so i won't suffocate.

Another tip to go with having the defroster on high- turn your visor down. This helps hold the heat against the windshield.

Or hook up a heated washer fluid setup. There are a couple aftermarket company's that have them. If I had my own truck that would be on of the first things I add. It also helps in spring time with love bugs.
