I stand with my comment even as an employee. It's always your choice where to work and I'd rather have cpm then percentage without veto power and knowledge over the loads.

Not directed at you but at the smart comment posted after with FMCSA reg for a lease contract. -
Ya I knew it wasn't but felt my comment needed to be reinforced.
-
So... basically percentage is better if I can refuse a load if the rate sucks, mileage is less of a screw over, but no one knows about Keim lol
CasanovaCruiser Thanks this. -
Also with percentage I don't think you typically get paid for deadhead as well. Cpm you usually do. Lots of questions to ask. I think drivers typically make more on percentage though.
-
Keim is a good company from what I've heard. Talk to a lot of their drivers at shippers and cons and they all say they're happy there.
@Rontonio, my comment was "smart" because the guy I was quoting was really ticking me off in several threads at the time.
Lease/company whatever the agreement with the company is the end game still comes to fraud if it isn't done right. Point is, there are regulations in place to protect drivers on percentage pay from that happening. -
Keim pays dead head miles with mileage.
Chewy352 Thanks this. -
Well I basically got no info on this, I take it Keim is too small to have a lot of info on?
-
In all of these post you made on another thread you claim you work for Keim, yet your original post on this thread you made says you are "considering applying for a job with Keim" and looking for any "inside info" and any info at all. One would think you should really have all the "info" you need since you made all these claims that you already worked there and you talk to operations managers, recruiters and everyone else almost daily.Last edited: Apr 5, 2016
macavoy, TripleSix and GarretMc23 Thank this. -
Timeout, I never said I was applying for a job with them. I said I was thinking about driving for them. I do work for them, I'm just looking for a different perspective about themy from the people I don't talk to that know more about the actual driving side of things
