There was a story in Truckers News a few years ago, about the guy who ran his tractor/trailer into the California Statehouse. The trainer he was with before this told the people at Simon that this guy was a nutcase, and should NOT be given a truck. They said thanks, and gave him one anyway. The trainer, who had been with Simon a number of years, was so incensed that they hired him, that he quit, saying he wanted nothing to do with the accident about to happen.

OK, I'm blown away. They must have just came into the market but coming to think about it the site say's Simon Transport was founded in 2004 and Kelle Simon was founded in 2002. I've seen several of Kelle's truck's but I've never seen one of the Simon Transportation trucks before. I'm trying to figure out who Lyn is to the family. I have to say that site is catchy and so is the equipment. Same adress as the old Dick Simon terminal and even look's like the same phone number. I'm gonna dig a little deeper on this one. Curiousity has me.

I've already posted the link's to the story above. Still trying to find the pictures. Lot's of CD's and floppy disc's to go through not to mention photo albums with the burnt truck on the yard. -

I gotta say, I do like that new modern look of the old logo idea. Slick. If they are anything like Dick Simon was back in the day, I just might put in an app. with them.

I wish I could find an old Dick Simon T-Shirt with the old logo on it, I've looked on ebay and everywhere else online I can think to look, if you have any old Dick Simon shirts, or anything with the old logo, you better hang on to it. -

I am. As a matter of fact the 2nd T I have has been in plastic and never worn. I'm thinking about having a "copy" made and then framing the original. Here are some picture's of the 1/64 scale discast truck. I even have some log book's and such as well.
Scratch's on the trailer are from my step son. He got ahold of it while I was on the road. Came home saw it and had a #### fit. I'm still trying to figure out how to cover them up without causing anymore damage.Attached Files:
