NOOOOOO, I asked YOU if YOU were employed by THEM. Not what you have refered from someone else's post. I've read that post and the OPer also has no inside knowledge of the company as he has never worked there or been on the premises or had a tour. All I see is gossip from what has been researched or read. Other than that one fruit cake that managed to slip through the cracks I've never heard anyone on that yard ##### or complain about anything and I still hear past driver's today say they wish they could go back because it was that good of a company even though it was in fact a training company. Don't base a judgment call without actual proof that you have worked there and they have done something wrong to you.

In other words you weren't employed by them.

I did a quick search nothing except how much money they paid out in personal injury lawsuits. One of them the largest personal injury lawsuit in Utah history up untill that time. Oh, and they did admit liability in that case. Help us out if you have links to other crooked stuff in the newspapers
-
Search back through this thread if you haven't. I believe I posted several links. If not here it will be in another Dick Simon thread which I haven't seen but maybe 2-3 threads on.
-
I've read through this thread entirely and I didn't see anything that pointed to Dick Simon himself or any of the family members as having done anything "crooked".Skunk_Truck_2590 Thanks this.

in December 1998 to file a lawsuit in Utah federal court against Dick Simon, Kelle Simon, and Alban Lang. The three were accused in this proposed class-action lawsuit of insider trading when they sold almost $3 million worth of company stock between January 15 and February 12, 1998, just before the stock value started to plummet.
-
And the result of this lawsuit was................what?
-
BANKRUTCY likely overruled the stock charges
Anyhow if your interested in the HISTORY of Dick Simon Transportation up to 1998 heres a link.

That's an accurate story except for the story of the Skunk and the flag. The part of the skunk is true but the first run of the flag is inaccurate as the first run of flag's on the truck's did not say "Sweet Simon" on them. It contained the skull and cross bones logo which from what I understand was a bit of a P.R. problem so it was changed to sweet simon with heart's and each heart was stood for each family member involved (wife, kid's and himself).
