    Wow that's what I'm talking about so for me I'm going to be local and first year starting what will I see as far as pay and thank u for having time to help me out

    It depends on where you live, I can say that guys in Detroit or Chicago or Toeldo area make better money than we do here, as for what you would make starting. The new guys I talk to here say they have no problem grossing $1100-1200 week. It all depends on what part of the country your in. But they have trouble finding people willing to haul gas so they usually pay better than the other local jobs in the area so they can find and keep drivers. If you are hired in a area that has at least five trucks you should have no problem making $60,000 the first year. Yet me say this I have been here 9yrs and I don't see guys quit, I only see guys get fired. Now I have heard of guys in other areas quit, but we are truck drivers after all and some drivers you just cant make happy (haha). Iam sure you know what I mean. Like I always say they can pay you $100hr but if dispatch doesn't dispatch you it don't really mean anything so my advise to you is if you do go to work for them kiss the as# of dispatch..     That's good news and your right can't please everyone I'm looking foward to hauling fuel I know it's dangers and I am scared but got to make the money u know hopeful it will be a great experience tired of hauling grocerys u know

    be happy what you all got up there in the south AL,GA,TN,MS,LA and the east coast we get load pay which is on avg of 10 to 15 dollars per hour. WE have trucks that has over a million miles on them.

    Wow really that's no good to haul fuel they pay y'all that low yup if I was out there I would look for better

    Wow....thanks for the heads-up...I'm in SC and have considered making a change, but not for that kind of pay.....

    Wow that stinks, I was told that once by my terminal manager when I asked about transferring down south but I thought he was just blowing smoke, I guess he wasn't. Thanks for the info..

    I only quit once before KAG bought the company i went with, can not win with these folks.The drivers are at an disadvantage here.
