Wow, I guess it does vary from place to place. I love my terminal. Management is great. Almost 2 years in with the Martinez, Ca terminal. Right now, we are so busy and are expecting to get much more work in the next few months. We are hiring like crazy. I don't even know half the drivers anymore. We picked up about 150 stations from Chevron and are picking up about 75 stations from Shell in the next couple months. Winter slowdown? Not going to happen this year. I still have no complaints with this company and the management at my location. I was thinking about transferring next year to another location. But, I am really thinking twice about it because the management here is on the ball and the bulk of the drivers are great. The only problem I have is with other drivers. Drivers who have no concept of respect for other drivers. For example, coming in early and taking someone elses assigned truck. But, I try to joke it off. I told one driver a few weeks ago that if he took my truck again we we're gonna box. lol Hasn't happened again since.I am one of those drivers that I go to work and I expect my truck to be there waiting for me. I want to just get into work, do my job, and go home. No farting around all shift. Just get it done.
