hey joetro, if you end up doing let me know. im not sure if i have to change the whole wiper assembly or just the track and different arms. the cabs are the same is what the glass man told me for the 1 and 2 piece areo-cabs. i havent looked at a 1 piece wiper set up yet, but hope to gp to a salvage yard this weekend and see what it looks like.
my truck is an 06 joe. i do the conversion, maybe we could just trade wipers parts? lol....SAR Thanks this. -
Joel I was also going to switch to a 2 piece glass .I talked to Kelly @roadsport here in town,he told me for what it cost'sfor the conversion to switch and the price difference on the glass that it would be money ahead in the long run to stay one piece.I will find out more this week as i took 2 to the glass saturday going to Rexburg.Keep in touch,Joe E

Why would anyone want to convert to two piece? Baffles my mind. Either system will wear out and the wipers won't work as well. Both worked great from the factory.

I want to do the opposite, my t660 has a one piece windshield and i want to convert it to a two piece

Don't really save much on glass by going to two piece. Think price difference on glass is around $20.00 between a one piece and one side of two piece. Glass companies usually charge less to install one side of two piece, but if both sides need glass costs more for installation than one piece. The others stated, difference is windshield gasket and wiper transmission set up. Wiper transmission is the expensive part.
SAR Thanks this. -
I don't know if the 2 piece curved has the same type of rubber seal as the one piece but my one piece "W900" curved rubber seal doesn't have a lip to seal onto the frame of the truck, its glued onto the truck which has came loose several times, mechanic told me its the cab vent being clogged, can't find the vents which are supposed to be on the floor rear of the cab.Oxbow Thanks this.
