    Yes, they share a ton of things.

    Take away the fact that so much of the truck seems to have problems prematurely though, and it is fine. In other words, brand new truck=no problems. By the time my truck has enough age and miles to become a pain in the rear, a newbie will be driving it, not me. :)

    The Pete and KW look alike, but there are several differences. Look down the side of each and you will notice the doors are even with the sleeper sides on the T-2000, while the drivers area is narrorer on the Pete, and the sleeper area gets wider behind the doors.

    The KW had a plastic floorboard, and practically everything else. The Pete had an aluminum floor, and more structural bracing.

    The Pete sleeper is taller than the KW also.

    I think the Pete is the better of the two, but you still can't get to anything under the hood when repairs are needed.

    Yes, the cab shell is the only thing that is really the same. Everything else, including the frame, are different.
