Another update:
got lucky again, they had a sensor and mechanic just replaced it. So truck started right away and I was happy..... for 10 minutes.
Stall by itself again with same "transmission failure" message..... But now DEF gauge does not go to 0 and no red light blink.
Stupid KW, what a shame...
Tomorrow they will scan it again to see codes.... God Lord please help me...MDOT Thanks this. -
Be happy it broke in the dealer parking lot and not out somewhere in the middle of no where.

I got an email requesting a authorization for a second test drive to see if they could duplicate the problem. I refused because they've test driven this thing every time it's been in the shop. I'm bleeding money, this truck ain't paying for itself! They suggested I get a day can to put in the truck to record the event when it happens that way they could heard and see what my driver's are experiencing. Noted! I pick up the dash cam and head to the dealership to give them another 1300. I got to the truck and stared it up so the truck would be warm for my driver. He inspected it and attempted to drive off. NO REVERSE, NO DRIVE, NO FAULTS on the dash. I go back in and get the service manger, he like great we should have something. He gets out there and notice NO ON SCREEN FAULTS. Noted he returns to the shop too get his computer. He plus in and see all the faults they just repaired, clears them and cycles the truck 2/3 times. Same thing won't go into gear. Now he's frustrated, plugs in again and he sees the factory installed camera. He says this is the first time any of his computers acknowledged the cameras even with the Bendix software which definitely should have picked it up. He checked out the camera and cables leading to it and determined that this could be the problem especially since everything communicates through the Bendix box. I temporarily disconnected it since he couldn't. All codes cleared. So the camera may be the issues. I'll keep you guys posted.QUALITYTRUCK and Kairen0001 Thank this. -
can’t give any new printouts, because truck been in a shop almost 3 weeks. They found nothing and said “go to dealer”. So I’m about to drop it off now but it won’t start!
I already hate KW and this stupid electronic in a truck, but definitely will try to disconnect camera ! Thank you!
Also please post any update, I really need it.
I bought my truck from used dealer and if nothing will change have to return it. But they don’t want to refund, they say it will be trade in value!!!Last edited: Jan 6, 2022
