i have 8's all the way from the y to the tips....and at 80 im turning 1650 and they sound great...not too load just a dull roar....
-
I was thinkin' the same thing...
I've always wondered why someone would want their truck to be louder than stock.
One of the things that I look for when I shop for a truck is how quiet it is because I don't want to sit there all day listening to unecessary noise.
I've been in some trucks with various sizes of straight pipes and the only thought that ever crosses my mind when I'm in one is..."Why would you make something this noisy on purpose?"
-
You never had a "case" to start with. Only "Big pipe envy"
-
maybe depends where stacks are located--had an fld where other driver had punched out the cone baffle--wasnt bad just driving--but when on the jakes--it would give me an earache--ok with windows up--but i kinda like the fresh air
-
You may have missed the part about factory option. Think quite w/7" pipes.
