You want me ( us ) to believe that a MAJOR truck mfg., likely #2 or #3 in the US allowed the manufacture and delivery of multiple units with bent frames and other major defects, said nothing to it's dealer network or customers and closed a plant because of said defects / sabotage and these rouge units roam the streets today? Have you any idea as to the financial damage a motor carrier could cause KW WHEN discovered? The number of lawsiuts filed by their dealer network WHEN discovered? What the FEDS would do when this was discovered ? ( Notice I keep saying when & not if ) The company could be destroyed overnight ! ( if true )

Perhaps quite a bit more research is in order. I might also recomend the employment of #### good counsel to boot. I am a vendor to the Peterbuilt plant in Texas and I assure you nothing even close to what you describe could even remotely exist at that facility. There are far too many checks and inspections throughout the process with all union members having full authority to stop the line or pull the unit at any point. Even the boys in the piggyback yard can hold a unit.

Personally, I doubt it. Good luck with the book and don't forget the counsel.

 

You should title your book "CHRISTINE, The Kenworth!" I'm sure Stephen King will be happy to give you some ideas.
