I don't have a concrete answer , I am bouncing a couple ideas that I have to do some homework on. I am thinking of ways to bring this treatment out into the open. Possibly a site where Drivers can anonymously tell on these receivers. I am thinking it is so outrages that there could already be laws against this , that were not made for trucking but could still apply. I don't know this , am today just what you are reading. I know nothing , except that it is not a good way to run any business. And that it is really bad treatment of a human being. Their has to be someone in trucking with a voice that people will listen to , that has some integrity , and cares enough to want to help. Does the Trucker have any organizations that have to do with looking out for them , in a good way and not just trying to find ways to fine or otherwise just get into their pockets?

 

Been looking for this person for almost 59 years now, hope you are more fortunate than I was. I gave up! Years ago, anything that had to do with food or groceries, I 'passed" on it.

 

People don't listen to Jesus. Getting them to listen to a trucker would require a real miracle.

 

There used to be one but he tried to play games with the Mafia and now he sleeps with the fishes. Funny thing, but since then the unions have been in steady decline and nobody has had the balls to take his place.

 

Go flatbed, way less time sitting at the dock generally.

 

You want my opinion of who put Mr. Hoffa there? THE GOVERNMENT! It was all planned from the time he was released from prison. Before "Deregulation" could ever have taken place, Hoffa had to go. Hoffa would have shut this country down before he would have allowed "Deregulation" and the government knew this. Hoffa had to go.
