One of the early posts says their kcup maker uses 2000 watts. I don't know how that's possible, since the max current available on a standard household 15A circuit is 1800 watts maximum, and realistically more like 1500. Breakers would be tripping constantly.

Don't have it in a TT yet, but we use a keurig at home. Two best coffee pods in it are the Amazon Brand Solimo, and the one that @Dave_in_AZ loves Pete's. Both are reasonable priced on Amazon if you do the "subscribe" to have them auto shipped. Though I guess you'd have to set that up for a terminal or change the delivery address based on where you'd be that given month.

I guess I'm either just an old fuddy dutty or got so old I'm more of a grouch. I never got into this "designer" coffee thing. The only way to "buy" coffee at the Hampton Virginia VA hospital, as far as I know, is to get it at the Starbucks counter there. A while back I took a gander at those prices, whistled and said good thing I am not wanting coffee today. In my other post I said I had a Keurig, I do, but only because the sales lady was hot and convinced me that I could not live without it. I think I used it long enough to go through a box of K cups. My pop was an old fashioned guy and a trucker. If the coffee was not strong enough to hold a spoon straight up it was too weak for him. I'm just rambling, good on any of you if you have found something you enjoy, dang if it seems every time something is discovered that is, well it causes cancer or worse-----

well mine was free, and for the truck they're only like 60.00. I used to have a Hamilton Beach that had the Pod and the carafe. IMO MUCH better than the Keurig. But don't know if one would go well in the cab.

This is what I'm using. Cheap, easy, quick, and makes a tasty cup of coffee. I've gotten 6 months out of it so far.

I’ve used a cheap k-cup brand coffee maker from Walmart, and while it was useful, it collected coffee grounds all the time. So I had to continuously clean it. I got rid of it and started using instant coffee because it’s less hassle. I boil some water in the microwave, and that’s it. You do need to try several instant coffee brands until you find the one you like. I love this cinnamon instant coffee from Walmart (see image).

I suppose if you spend more money and buy a Keurig coffee maker, it will be almost maintenance-free. The other problem I have with these things is that k-cups are expensive. I’ve tried using the reusable k-cups in the past, but again, it’s too much hassle.

I am sorry sir, instant coffee is a sin, and not real coffee. You are banned from every taking part of real coffee again. :D

Hahaha. I know, I know. That’s why I said you need to try several instant coffee brands to find the one you like. Yes, instant coffee aren’t at the level of regular coffee, but the cinnamon instant coffee I recommend is better in taste than Love’s coffee.
