I have read the prior posts. You did not say anything but "HATERS, Man you don't get it" What is it we don't get? I get it that he is a business man who has a radio show and he promotes all of these companies. He also has or had (at one point I thought he said he has sold them as he did not have time for them anymore) 3 trucks that ran a dedicated account (same trip everyday). He also talks about fuel mileage and has profit gauges that you can get for a monthly fee. I get that he does not have to get out here and drive a truck. Except his little RV type truck.
So explain what I just don't get. Like I stated before and I have learned a lot from him.Dice1 Thanks this. -
Also I do get that a lot of people do not care for him and a lot of people do.

How does hating KR (I can't stand him) make me less able to "Think outside the box"? The huge majority of his opinions concerning the operation of a truck are things I had figured out in the early 1980's and have tried to practice since then. My first two trucks back in the 1970's both had tag axles. KR tries to make it sound like he invented the concept. His opinions involving anything to do with politics and/or economics are squarely in the Rush Limbaugh/Tea Party "box' and really not worthy of discussion.
I don't think the guy has ever had an original idea in his life. He flits from one concept to another as fast as some new one comes to his attention, entirely forgetting the first one in the process. Example; Back when I was listening to him he started talking about some idea to just have a really lightweight two-axle tractor that would be able to scale almost as much as a three-axle. I'm pretty sure he got the idea from visiting Jubitz Truck Stop & seeing the Paymaster truck from the 1960's they had on display there. Whatever, it wasn't an original idea and it hasn't gone anywhere.
The last time I tuned in to his show he was taking credit for developing the Scan Guage. Excuse me, but from what I've been told all he did was take an already existing product & ask the manufacturer to slow down the MPG readout and give it the ability to calculate your fuel cost per mile. That's development? That's blowing smoke in my book, which is what he does best, and it's all his mindless acolytes who can't see through the smoke to notice they're still in the box that he tells them they're thinking outside of.ingedavi, 217flatbedr, Oscar the KW and 1 other person Thank this. -
BTW, I got less than 3mpg the other day, with zero idle time.217flatbedr and ingedavi Thank this. -
"My tire doesn't rotate. "
"Do you have a scangauge?"
Every caller no matter what they call about is asked if they have a scan gauge and if not told to go buy oneingedavi Thanks this. -
Hey Kevin . Thanks for all u do for us truckers.... What kind of tires should i buy?
Boardhauler and ingedavi Thank this. -
I really don't get why people dislike him so much. 98 percent of what he says is basic common sense truth.
Dice1 Thanks this.
