At one time I thought he had some pretty good info---BUT--now IMHO hes just a walking commercial--and seems if you boil down all the bs--stuff you gotta buy--he is still really preachin SLOW DOWN run 55--and again IMHO--if you are gonna run 55--really isnt much need to do all the other stuff--cuz your gonna get the savings by jus slowin down

I at one time also drank the KR koolaid but time and paying attention proved most of what he is selling to be horsepuckey. I never fell for the turdblo 3000 but I did waste money on microblu bearings and a fleetair filter from my experience a complete waste of money.

Where i agree with kr is on buying a cheap truck with cash to start but duh thats just commen sence then starts the jct lease commercial and then back to tearing it apart but not naming it that was funny.....he seems very close to pushing % over fixed leases though

Some of you can run slow and have all the time in the world to get from point a-b. Some of us don't, i have customers that require expedited service and to make the run you've got to avg 73 mph. They pay well and i don't mind it leave the house mon back home fri and ran 3450 mi in 5 days get reset and do it again. All of 2013 my fuel mileage was 6.42. That's figuring all mi for the year and all gallons of fuel purchased. Not great by some peoples standards but not all that bad. Considering fsc averaged 45 cpm for all mi ran. According to keven rutherford i should be in the poor house. But this industry is dynamic and what works for one doesn't for the other. A lot of his ramblings are common sense. Btw i do all drop and hook and run in 75 mph states. Just thought i'd mention that before people start bashing it's impossible to do.

Not to mention that 63 mph trucking is very tiring for mind and body.I run speed limit +3 and haven't had a ticket in about 8 years.Drove those slow trucks for many years and they absolutely wear you out.

Too bad with the new HOS rules you can't use a the reset every weekend with the required 168 hours (7 full 24 hour days) from the end of reset before next reset can start along with working in the two 1 am to 5 am periods.

Anything else to add to your fairy tale?

actually you need to re read the regulation it states 168 hrs from the beginning of your restart to the beginning of your next restart. I suggest you go to fmcsa.gov web site before you suggest i'm lying. Also i do run a eobr so it is completely legal. So my reatarts start every fri usually at 20:00 hrs and end monday at 05:00. So get your facts straight

    .
So if your restart, starts on say sat at 19:00 hrs including the 2, 1-5 periods your restart would be up monday at 5 am... Which means you could start another reset on sat at 19:00. Which is 168 hrs from the beginning of last restart. Roughly 5.5 days
