I'm saying the show is superficial, repetitive, & a thinly disguised advertisement for his sponsors -- the later having a history of being predatory (turbo 3000).

FOKR's will say he helps his callers, but I question whether adding links to a man's shackles truly helps or whether it simply promotes a gradual acceptance of the status quo.

    Lol.

Seriously though, Kevin may have some haters, and his advice may not work for everyone. But there is no denying his advice has helped many and even saved some o/o from failure.

If I believe in something, I have no problem saying I do like HP computers... I certainly don't get any monies from HP for saying it but I believe HP is the best Computer so, I tell anyone that talks about or, ask's about computers. Please lets not turn this into a computer debate,,,just and example of my point.

By adding links, do you mean that most that call in are already doomed to failure? Or are you saying that an O/O is in a bad situation just because, he/she is an O/O?

BTW, I agree,,,the show is repetitive. But, as I have stated before, every once in a while I learn something and, it keeps me motivated.

Is the turbo3000D all there is? When I started listening to him, he was talking about it. I fear it did not work as well as he had initially thought it would but, it did work for some. Is it better for him to say, "my bad guys, I screwed up" or just move on and quit promoting it,,,as a business man that is.

I'm saying most people leased to a carrier should consider what they are paying (or giving up in pay) for the amount of services provided. So many of the "successful" examples spend more time trying to save $20 in office supplies than they do wondering whether there is something wrong working 80 hours/week for 45-50cpm while giving up 30-40cpm for the ~5 hours/week their company does on their behalf.
And I agree that the show has many nuggets of wisdom. (which is why I often tune in). And yes, I would respect KR a lot more if he admitted he was wrong about the turbo3000d.

Come on brother,,,$20 her and $20 there adds up over time. Yes they should consider what they are paying (or giving up in pay) for services provided by the carrier. But, shouldn't they do that BEFORE they lease on to said company? KR points this out as well. You as an O/O should know what your getting into before you sign the contract. If the company is screwing you, you make the business decision to get out, not let company make your decisions for you.

Want to make it clear,,,I am not, nor have I ever been and O/O. If I am wrong in anything I said, I will gladly listen. I appreciate the fact that you "double yellow" are being rashinal, lets keep it going.

Lets be a little honest. A lot of these trucking shows have sponsors like Turbo3000D or motorkote or whatever. It's all snake oil. All of these "additives" are about the same. There's a reason the dealers advise strongly against them. I too, wish that these "trucker" personalities would be honest about this stuff.

you been listening to him to long, your statement sounds like something you hear on his show.

why don't you explain better the 80 hours a week while giving up 30 to 40 for 5 hours, I would love to hear it.

sheepdog, many think by simply "having your own authority" every thing suddenly turns to money, income increases, etc etc etc.

its not necessarily true at all, it isn't nearly as simple as some make it out to be
