132,000 in Idaho on a tri axle permitted. What is the point of the weight? I got a set of doubles 2 32 foot flatbeds to haul hay a tri axle aspen rgn and a step deck. And so technically your a lease operator the exact crowd he preaches to

Figured with you asking if I was a lease op that you may be interested in what I do.
I said earlier that nothing he sells pertains to me. My income number's are out of the scale he even talks about, the weight I haul makes it so I wouldn't benifit from anything he's preaching or selling. Airtabs don't save me fuel, hp does and cubic inches. I have a 12.7 and it's the worst of the fleet on mpg at this weight. -
Wouldn't it be great if they got somebody to host a show on road dog that really knew their stuff and didn't have an agenda and wasn't afraid to admit they didn't know everything? I'm sure a lot of you guys could do a better job than KR. How did he weasel his way onto the radio to become the unofficial guru of trucking? The other shows on that channel are mostly lame especially freewheeling. I like the morning guys when I can't find anything else to listen to but there really isn't a lot of useful information on those shows. I appreciate all of your opinions!

Would driving for Landstar be considered a lease operator? If so I would think most people that call themselves owner operators really aren't unless they have their own authority and are running all their own equipment.Pnwtrucker Thanks this.

I stated that you can call it what you call it but where I am, if you run the companies insurance , plates and fuel cards then your a lease op. If you run your own then your a sub contractor.
